ARTICLE 1 – ORGANISATION, DATES AND SCOPE
1.1. The non-profit association Wallonie Belgique Tourisme (VISITWallonia), abbreviated as WBT, with its registered office at Rue Marché aux Herbes 25-27, 1000 Brussels, and its operational office at Avenue Comte de Smet de Nayer 14, 5000 Namur, registered with the BCE under number 0888.366.085, is organising this competition on its website and promoting it via its newsletter and social media.
1.2. The competition will be accessible from November 24 at 09:00 until December 7 at 23:59.
1.3. The prizes will consist of items related to Wallonia, as described in Article 5.
1.4. This contest is governed by the rules set out in this document. Participation in the contest implies unconditional acceptance of all provisions of these rules and any decisions made by the organizer.
ARTICLE 2 – ELIGIBILITY
2.1. This contest is exclusively open to individuals aged 18 or older who participate in their own name, have a valid email address, and reside in Belgium, excluding staff of Wallonie Belgique Tourisme, its partner associations, and anyone who contributed to organizing this contest. Also excluded from participation are first-degree family members of the persons mentioned above and anyone living under the same roof.
2.2. If a participant’s email address provided during the contest is deleted or no longer used, it is the participant’s responsibility to notify the organizer at concours@visitwallonia.be of the updated contact details.
2.3. Only entries that meet the requirements for each contest will be considered.
2.4. Any attempt at fraudulent participation through methods such as (but not limited to) pseudonyms, multiple email accounts, false information, or other means constitutes a breach of contract. It may result in immediate or retroactive disqualification without notice or justification from the organizer and without any recourse for the participant.
ARTICLE 3 – HOW TO ENTER
3.1. To validly participate, the following conditions are mandatory:

ARTICLE 4 – LIABILITY
4.1. WBT cannot be held liable if, for reasons beyond its control, the contest or its conditions are partially or entirely shortened, postponed, modified, or cancelled.
4.2. This contest is neither managed nor sponsored by Facebook. Consequently, no information provided to WBT by participants will be shared with Facebook.
4.3. Participation implies understanding and acceptance of the characteristics and limits of the Internet, including technical performance, response times for consulting, querying, or transferring information, risks of interruption, and more generally, risks inherent to any Internet connection and data transmission, the absence of protection against potential data misuse, and risks of viruses circulating on the network.
4.4. Accordingly, WBT cannot be held liable under any circumstances for Internet network malfunctions, technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind, or consequences of any viruses or computer bugs.
ARTICLE 5 – PRIZES
5.1. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash.

5.2. Depending on the prize, it may be delivered in person, by email, or by post within 15 days after the end of the contest.
ARTICLE 6 – ACCEPTANCE OF RULES
6.1. Participation in the contest implies acceptance of these rules without reservation and waives any recourse regarding the organization and conduct of the contest.
6.2. In case of substantial amendments to these rules during the contest, the organizer will inform all participants by email or via the official contest website within a reasonable time before applying the changes. Participants may then withdraw without penalty.
ARTICLE 7 – WINNER SELECTION
7.1. Winners are those who land on a “winning” segment of the wheel.
7.2. Since the Instant Winner is a JavaScript animation, the output text following the Instant Winner is the official indication of winning or losing.
7.3. Winners are immediately informed via the output text.
7.4. To ensure transparency and fairness, the organizer keeps technical proof of each participation via server logs containing the date, time, IP address, and result of the draw. In case of disputes regarding prize attribution, these records may be used as evidence. The organizer also reserves the right to have the contest verified in whole or in part by a bailiff.
ARTICLE 8 – PERSONAL DATA AND IMAGE RIGHTS
8.1. Personal data collected on the contest entry form is processed by Wallonie Belgique Tourisme to ensure proper conduct of the contest, winner selection, and prize delivery, in strict compliance with applicable data protection regulations, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Belgian law of 30 July 2018.
8.2. By checking “Yes, I'd like to receive the newsletter of VISITWallonia (Wallonia Belgium Tourism) containing all the tourist information for Southern Belgium and I accept the privacy policy. You can opt-out any time.”, you consent to your first name and email being processed to receive the weekly newsletter in accordance with WBT’s data protection policy.
8.3. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in the newsletter. For more information on data processing and your rights, see the Data Protection Policy.
8.4. Data will be kept for a maximum of six (6) months after the contest ends, except for newsletter subscriptions. Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, and transfer your data. You can exercise these rights by contacting vieprivee@visitwallonia.be.
8.5. If you choose to tick the optional consent box, you agree that Wallonia Belgium Tourism may securely transfer the personal data you submitted (such as your name and contact details) to Iris Ferries. Upon receiving your consent, Iris Ferries may use your personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy (available at https://www.irishferries.com/uk-en/privacy-and-security) for the administration of the competition and for reasonable related promotional purposes. ARTICLE 9 – GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
9.1. The competition is governed by British law.
9.2. Any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of Justice in London.
