Terms & Conditions of the Instant Win Contest from Belgian Tourist Office Wallonia

ARTICLE 1 - ORGANIZATION, DATES AND SCOPE
The head office of the non-profit association Wallonia Belgium Tourism - abbreviated as ‘WBT’, is located at 25-27 Rue Marché aux Herbes, 1000 Brussels, whilst the registered office is established at 5000 Namur Avenue Comte de Smet Nayer, 14, registered at the ECB under the number 0888.366.085. The contest has been devised and circulated through the Facebook page "Belgian Tourist Office Wallonia", through the website of Wallonia Belgium Tourism and via the newsletter of Wallonia Belgium Tourism.
This competition will take place repeatedly throughout 2024, over varying periods and according to the prizes donated to Wallonia Belgium Tourism by its partners.
The competition will be promoted at a specific date and time. The list of prizes to be won will be seen on the contest page. The winning internet users will be those who have participated at the moment closest to the winning moment determined in advance by WBT. As soon as all the Prizes have been won, it will no longer be possible to enter the contest until the new prizes are online.
The Prizes will comprise of various tourism offerings. (tickets for tourist attractions, invitations to events, coupons, books, local products, tourist passes ...) all in relation to Wallonia.
This contest is governed by the standards set out in this document. The mere fact of participating in the contest implies the unconditional acceptance of all the provisions of these rules, as well as any decision that the organizer may make.
The current ‘Win chocolate boxes’ competition will run from 02/12/2024 9:00 am to 11/12/2024 23:00 pm.
ARTICLE 2 - CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
This contest is open exclusively to any adult aged at least 18, who has a valid email address and resides in United Kingdom and Ireland, excluding the staff of Wallonia Belgium Tourism, its partner associations and any other person who would have collaborated in the development of this competition. Also excluded from the right to participate, in the first degree, are the family of persons referred to in the previous paragraph, as well as people living under the roof of the latter. If the e:mail address provided by the participants during the contest is removed or no longer used by these participants, it is their responsibility to notify the organizer of their news at the email address: info.uk@visitwallonia.be
Manoeuvre or attempted fraudulent participation by methods such as (non-exhaustive) use of pseudonyms, multiple e-mail accounts, false data or other may result in the disqualification and immediate or subsequent elimination of the participant without need for the organizer to inform the participant, nor to justify its decision, and without possibility of recourse for the participant thus eliminated.
ARTICLE 3 - GAME-COMPETITION
To participate:
1. The participant will have to fill in his coordinates correctly and then try his luck on the game to obtain a combination of three identical symbols.
2. The symbols scroll and stop to display a combination. There is no possibility to force a combination. The participant can play only once a day (based on the first name, email and a cookie) but by using Facebook sharing at the end of the game, he gains a second change to play.
ARTICLE 4 - LIABILITY
WBT cannot be held responsible if, for reasons beyond its control, the transaction and its terms should be partially or totally shortened, postponed, modified or cancelled.
This contest is neither managed nor sponsored by Facebook. As a result, no information transmitted by Wallonia Belgium Tourism participants will be communicated to Facebook. Participation in the competition implies knowledge and acceptance of the characteristics and limits of the Internet, particularly with regard to technical performance, response times to consult, interrogate or transfer information, the risks of interruption, and more generally, the risks inherent in any connection and transmission over the Internet, the lack of protection of certain data against possible diversions and the risk of contamination by possible viruses circulating on the network.
As a result, WBT will not be liable under any circumstances for any malfunction of the Internet, technical, hardware or software failures of any nature whatsoever and the consequences of any computer virus or bug.

Please note that we are not responsible for any post delays, and chocolates have an expiry date written on the box. We will make sure they arrive in due time for you to enjoy them, but check out the expiry date as soon as you receive the box.
ARTICLE 6 - ACCEPTANCE OF THE REGULATIONS
The mere fact of participating in the contest implies the acceptance of the present rules without any reserve as well as the renunciation of all recourse concerning the conditions of organization and the course of the contest.
ARTICLE 7 - DESIGNATION OF WINNERS
The winners will be those whose game will have displayed 3 identical symbols. Since the Instant Winner is a Javascript animation, the exit text after the Instant Winner is the official element to indicate whether the game is winning or losing. The winners are immediately notified. The prizes will be sent to the winners starting december 12, 2024.
ARTICLE 8 - PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA AND IMAGE RIGHTS
By participating in this competition, you expressly consent to the computerized processing of all data communicated to the non-profit organization Wallonia Belgium Tourism. The purpose of the treatment is to ensure the smooth running of this contest and the designation of the winners. If you have not ticked the box "Yes, I explicitly choose to receive the newsletter of Wallonia Belgium Tourism (WBT - non-profit organisations) containing all the tourist information to visit Wallonia and I accept the confidentiality charter of WBT.", your data will be erased as soon as the winners are selected. If you are a winner, your data will be kept for the purpose of sending you your prize. After receipt of the prize, only the exchange of e-mails with Wallonia Belgium Tourism will be kept in order to constitute a proof of sending your lot. ARTICLE 9 - COMPETENT LAW AND COURTS
This competition is governed by the law of the United Kingdom. Any dispute concerning the interpretation or the execution of this regulation will be the exclusive competence of the ASA’s jurisdiction and also British law.
